African Woman Holding an Amphora at Sunset
The story

Shaped by the hands of women

In many West African villages, pottery has always been women’s knowledge. No wheel, no machine: the clay is built up coil by coil, smoothed by hand, dried in the sun and fired in an open flame. The skill passes from mother to daughter, and every jar carries the hands that came before.

She walks with that legacy, one vessel raised high, another at her side. On your wall, she brings warmth, patience and the beauty of things made to last. A piece for a home that values what is passed down.

Every UMOJA painting starts with a story worth telling.

Which frame should I choose?
