These Terms of Sale (“Terms”) apply to purchases made on UMOJA STUDIO (the “Store”).

The Store is operated by RJT Services (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By placing an order, you confirm you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

We offer home décor objects and decorative pieces. We do our best to display product photos, colors, and descriptions as accurately as possible. However, minor variations may occur due to lighting, screen settings, or product finishing.

4.1 Placing an order

You select product(s), add them to your cart, and complete checkout. Your order is only confirmed once payment is successfully processed.

4.2 Order confirmation

After purchase, you will automatically receive an order confirmation email. Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details (when available).

4.3 Refusal / cancellation

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit an order at any time for legitimate reasons (including suspected fraud, pricing errors, stock issues, or abnormal order activity). If we cancel an order after you’ve been charged, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.

Prices are shown in [USD] unless stated otherwise. We may change prices at any time. Promotions and discount codes may have conditions and can be withdrawn at any time.

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout (e.g., credit/debit card, PayPal, etc.). Payment is due immediately at checkout.

7.1 Shipping destinations

At this time, we ship only to the United States and Canada. We do not ship to other countries or regions.

7.2 Processing time (before shipment)

Orders are processed within 1 to 4 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).

7.3 Estimated delivery time (after shipment)

After dispatch, estimated delivery time is 6 to 10 business days, depending on the destination and carrier conditions.

7.4 Free shipping threshold

Shipping is free on orders over $20 (USD). For orders below this amount, shipping fees are shown at checkout.

7.5 Fulfillment & logistics

To offer a wider selection and efficient fulfillment, some orders may ship from our international fulfillment partners, including warehouses located in Asia.

7.6 Customs, duties, and import taxes (important)

If your order is shipped internationally, customs duties, import taxes, or carrier handling fees may apply. These fees are set by your local authorities/carrier and are generally your responsibility as the importer/recipient. (Canada: imported goods may be subject to GST/duties assessed by CBSA.  )

7.7 Shipping delays & out-of-stock situations

We do our best to meet estimated timelines, but delays can happen (carrier congestion, customs processing, peak periods, etc.).

If we cannot ship within the stated timeframe (or within the timeframe promised at checkout), we will notify you and provide options, including the ability to cancel for a refund, in line with applicable rules.

We have a 14-day return policy, meaning you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Email contact@umojastudio.fr. If your return is accepted, we will send instructions (and, where applicable, a return label). Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

8.4 Return shipping costs

Return shipping costs are paid by the customer and are non-refundable. If a refund is issued, return shipping costs may be deducted from your refund where permitted.

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or you received the wrong item, contact us immediately at contact@umojastudio.fr so we can assess the issue and provide an appropriate solution.

The fastest way to get what you want is to return the item you have (once approved) and place a new order separately.

We will notify you once we receive and inspect your return and confirm whether your refund is approved. If approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method. Processing times vary by bank/card provider.

For U.S. orders, sales tax may be collected where required based on your shipping address and applicable nexus rules.  

For Canada, GST/HST and duties may be assessed on import depending on the shipment.  

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits), arising from your use of the Store or from products purchased through the Store.

Some jurisdictions (including certain U.S. states and Canadian provinces) do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

All content on the Store (text, visuals, branding, product photos) is owned by RJT Services or its licensors and may not be used without written permission.

Your personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply in your place of residence (U.S. state / Canadian province).
